Spartans Depart to Vermont for TD Banknorth Classic

Off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2004-05, the Michigan State women's basketball team travels to Vermont this weekend for the TD Banknorth Classic. The Spartans will square off with Dartmouth on Saturday at 3 p.m. inside Patrick Gymnasium, and will face either Vermont or Quinnipiac on Sunday.

Men's Basketball Tickets Available For Next Three Games

Men's basketball tickets are currently on sale for MSU's next three home games, including contests against Bradley (Dec. 7), Alcorn State (Dec. 13) and The Citadel (Dec. 17). Spartan fans can also purchase the Izzone Holiday 2-Game Mini Plan which includes tickets to the Alcorn State and The Citadel games in the student section while the students are on semester break. Mini plans are available for $60 or $26. Nicole Bush Named Great Lakes Region Athlete of the Year

Senior cross country standout Nicole Bush added to her long list of accolades this week when she was voted NCAA Great Lakes Regional Women's Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. She is the first in MSU history to receive the award. :: Full Release ::

Mark Dantonio Weekly Press Conference Coverage

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio held his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon to preview the regular-season finale at No. 7/8 Penn State. The Spartans (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten) and Nittany Lions (10-1, 6-1) will meet Saturday, Nov. 22 at 3:30 p.m. in Beaver Stadium with at least a share of the Big Ten title on the line.
