COLUMBUS, Ohio - Junior Danielle Williams and sophomore David Garry each advanced to the finals in the second day of the Zones Regional Championships Saturday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion at Ohio State. Williams placed 14th in women's three-meter diving with a score of 503.50, while Garry finished 19th with a total of 531.40.

Williams, who made the one-meter finals on Friday, was also 14th in the prelims (255.55), finishing a very consistent weekend. Junior Alycia Mokedanz placed 25th in the event with a score of 230.25. Forty-one women's divers, including 25 from the Big Ten, competed in the event.

Garry led the for MSU's men's contingent for the second straight day. He earned a trip to the one-meter finals by finishing 17th in the prelims. Sophomore Ivan Zalessov placed 28th in the prelims (247.05). There were 39 men's entries, including 23 from the Big Ten.

The Zones finishes with platform diving Sunday afternoon at 11 a.m.
